I has bought a Howa mini in 6mmarc with CF stock and a Taurus TX 22 TORO.
I have not had time to shoot either one yet.

Marlin 1895 inn45-70. Magpul furniture, Trijicon RMR type 2 on top. I did switch that for an Aimpoint PRO.
The stock really does decrease felt recoil by about 17% (or so … )

Well, just bought another one this morning.

Winchester Mod 70 Super Grade In 458 Win Mag. Don't have a great picture of it yet.

Plan on putting the Trijicon RMR on it (the one that is on the 45-70 above).

This gun is mainly for backup when clients hunt nasty critters like Water Buffalo or animals that often take the offensive when wounded, like Gemsbuck, Sable or Zebra. Or pigs too I guess.

Mike, would a little judicious smoothing and a couple of applications of a good cold blue fix that ? Otherwise it's in really good condition for a '50 some Model 36 !

I'm going to consult my 'expert' Larry first.
My experiences with the old Birchwood Casey cold blue have not been successful on hot blued parts in the past.
I'll live with it for now....not as though I don't have others

Use a black permanent marker scratch will be gone the Milwaukee markers work best

I had a semi custom 300 PRC built from a donor R700 BDL 7mag. R700 accurized, Proof CF 1-8 twist 26" bbl, McMillan stock and Leopold VX-Hd 5. Currently developing a load for it with the 214 HH for it but it shoots the factory 212 ELD-X ammo to much better than MOA. I just like the Hammer for the terminal performance.It is mainly an elk rifle.

Finished putting together an AR 15 Bolt Target Rifle, consisting of:

Aero Precision M4E1 Lower Rcvr W/ Magpul MOE, PRS Lite Stock.
Replaced the Mil-Spec Trigger W/ Geissele Super Sem-Auto Enhanced
2-Stage Curved Trigger.
Vortex Strike Eagle 6-24X50 EBR-4 Reticle Scope (Old scope I already had
as ready spare).

Reloaded 50 rounds of Sierra 100 gr. MatchKing Ammo for planned
sighting-In this coming week.
