What do you do with your ammo? Do you swap it out every season because of the weather or just to be sure...or do you just use the same load all the time?

Same loads year round.
I cycle them out every January.
Manner of dress does not change much in Texas. I will probably still be in shorts and t-shirts on Christmas. :ROFLMAO:

I shoot only reloads through all my rifles and I'm still shooting stuff that I loaded 5 years ago and it shoots just the same as it did 5 years ago. I don't reload for shotguns and haven't bought shells in many years....I think they are all more like 6-7 years old minimum but haven't had any issues.....maybe someday I'll get into enough birds to need to buy more lol.

Depends on the designers and the latest fashions, how much change since last season, how much or little color palettes are shifting, what closure methods are in and out, available accessories, just so many factors. It's just exhausting trying to keep up with the latest trends.:whistle::unsure::sleep:

Pretty much what he said. When I shot sporting clays (for about ten years) I loaded my own, as much for convenience as cost. I found I could load AA clones at Walmart promotional load prices. I could also load 150 rounds in about an hour, maybe less, the night before I shot a tournament if I chose to.

As far as metallic ammo, it doesn’t age if kept indoors in a temp and humidity controlled environment. I shoot a .280 Rem for almost all my deer hunting, and I load twenty rounds about every other year. This takes care of my is it still on needs, as well as a couple of deer and a few hogs and the occasional coyote.

My sixguns are a different animal altogether though, as I shoot them more often and more heavily. Rifles aren’t fun to me, they’re strictly business. Sixguns are fun, and I have several different calibers, all single actions except one. Usually the ammo age is measured in weeks, not years !

I do not, I shoot mostly hand loads 98% of my rifle and hand gun stuff I make.
I shoot enough handgun stuff that’s it only about 1-2 Years old. I load 223/556 on bulk 500/10000 at a time. Then as I get low I replenish it.
I cast my own handgun bullets 50lbs at a time and I cast 6 different bullets on most 50 lbs is a 30 cal ammo can full. That’s about as much as I want to carry as an older guy.
Then I powder coat and size.
