Very true, and we all know it. We just don’t do it !I don't like dry-fire either. Unfortunately it is one of the best ways to see what your grip and trigger pull is doing. The recoil of even a standard velocity 22 rim-fire can cover up errors. Until you work out how to consistently get the hammer to drop without any disturbance of the sights you might be wasting ammo programing yourself with bad habits that will be very difficult to break.
