Have you ever dealt with a store, range, or shop that gave you flat-out terrible service? I'm talking rude staff, slow responses, or complete lack of care. What happened, and how did you handle it?

Oh yeah, I have been there. This one shop gave me attitude about a return. I just stayed polite, kept my cool, and walked out. Life's too short for bad service, especially when there are plenty of other good gun shops out there

I had a range once where the staff acted like I was bothering them just asking simple stuff, I never went back

I walked into a shop once and the guy behind the counter looked at me like I ruined his lunch break. I asked about optics, he barely grunted. I laughed, bought nothing, and took my cash elsewhere

About 30 years ago, a buddy and me went to an electronics store to purchase a computer for the kids Christmas. Granted, we were dressed in work clothes, not dirty, but we were in jeans, work boots and work shirts. The salesman barely would give us the time of day after I asked 3-4 questions and literally just walked away. Another young guy walked up and asked if he could help. He answered my questions, showed me a printer, cables, etc. As we were checking out the first salesman walked up, looked at the sales ticket, and looked dumbfounded as he walked away realizing he’d lost out on a $6k sale.

A waiter brought our food. Said “Anything else?”

I said, what about my wife’s order?

Snippy McBacktalk said “She didn’t order anything!”

I rarely ever leave no tip. This brain surgeon got nothing.

Short Action Customs yep I ordered an action wrench and the heads for different calibers. They showed in stock but one head (the one I needed to do a barrel swap didn’t show up! I called and asked about it. He said they were in production and would be shipped in a couple of weeks. Not a word from them three weeks I called same story! So I questioned him about what I was told not being rude….and he got snippy with me and was told next month. I said well I would just like to return everything and cancel the order. I was told I would have to pay return shipping and there would be a restocking fee!. I sent an email to the company owner and basically he’s reply was I don’t care that’s our policy. I finally received the head after 3 months. I don’t care how good their products are but will never do business with them again! These days there are many companies making great products. I have unsubscribed and blocked them and will never ever recommend doing business with them!
Arrogance and rudeness is not acceptable!!

Good customer service managers recognize that stories like this cost them far more in sales than they would loose simply by accepting returns. Which, they loose nothing. Just one sale.

Very shortsighted action on their part.
