Various firearms (for self defense) throughout the house. We are 'empty nester's' so no need to have much of anything locked away.

Bedroom: I have a High Capacity 45 acp on the bedside table (my side). Wife has a Ruger SP101 in the drawer on her side. There is a 12 ga. shotgun loaded with 3" mag. 00 buck hanging behind the headboard of the bed.

Our two Dachshunds sleep on the window seat in the computer room adjacent to our bedroom and act as our Early Warning System.

Suffice to say....we sleep peacefully at night.

Ruger Mini 30 with a 20 rd mag. Defeats body armor. House is limestone so no slugs can leave the house other than via windows. Don
