Every day at 10 a.m., a huge buck appears on camera. In the mornings and evenings, I hunt. And I have never crossed over into his pattern

Was the wind right ? Do you have a foolproof way to enter and leave your blind ? Do you park too close to it ? These are all factors to consider. They aren’t smarter than humans, but they can certainly smell, hear, and see movement better than we can. Older deer are much more cautious, so if anything is out of place, they know it. They are intimately familiar with their territory. If you have made sure that the problems above are corrected (if needed), then hunt all day, you just may see him at noon ! Not all deer are captured on trail cams, I have seen that with my own eyes.

Deer can move around a lot in the middle of the day and surprise you. I started hunting later in the morning after seeing that on my trail camera. Sometimes we just hunt where we expect the deer to be instead of where they actually are.
