I'll say "Ambidextrous controls". I'm right-handed, always will be and the extra levers just add places for dirt to get in and things to snag. I get why they exist for lefties, but on a gun meant for me specifically? Unnecessary complexity. Sometimes the standard configuration is standard because it works fine for most people...
 
A safety lever on a striker fired pistol. Keep your finger off of that trigger until you’re ready to shoot and you won’t need a safety lever.
 
Not a bad rule, but there are a lot of forcibly disarmed police officers still breathing because a crook didn’t know about or understand a safety mechanism.
That’s probably true, but as a civilian, I don’t have to try to cuff anyone, and I don’t have to treat them with kid gloves if they act naughty. I’ll keep the safety levers off my guns. YMMV
