I bet this community has some interesting skills beyond hunting, let's see what everyone's into when we're not in the woods.

Reading. Proofreader and copy editor for a group of authors. When I'm not work reading, or involved in this and similar forums and related activities, I'm reading just because. Nothing better than a good book. Except for my best half, superior to all.

I used to design, build, and play with electric RC boats. Lake became infested with moss, which stopped that hobby. I'm into shooting now.

That’s awesome. Proofreading and editing takes a sharp eye and patience..

Here's an old Silvertone Model 1484 guitar amp. It was a tad dirty when I got it. I still have some minor things to finish up. It cleaned up nicely.

I had to remove everything to clean the chassis but it came out nice.

This is an old Fender Bandmaster that I restored. I don't have many photos of this one for some reason.

I have some Fender Tweed style clones built from kits and kits waiting for me to build them. I like working on guitar amps. Simple to work on and it's nice to hear them sing when you're done.
On the newer side of things this is a low dropout solar charge controller. The left board uses surface mount components and the right board uses through hole. It's not my design but the board layout is mine.
There are over 100 project folders on my computer and each folder has one or more projects documented in it.

And last (not really, I have a lot more but this is way too long as it is)
A little astronomy but not with a telescope. All of these are with my 600 f4 and even the sun images are cropped.
Each of these were color corrected differently.

This is Jupiter, it's moons, and Saturn at conjunction.

Skinny moon. These are hard to find and see.

And one from Terlingua. Sometimes, if there's no moon, the skies are so dark and the Milky Way is so bright you can see your shadow. I've spent a lot of hours out there doing time lapse and nightscapes. The light on the cross came from a buddy of mines covered flashlight. In portrait photography we'd call that a hair light :)
