Some days it comes down to comfort, other days it’s weather, clothing or where I’m going. I’ve noticed my choice changes more than I expected.

Partly by always wearing the same thing, Tru-Spec originals so I can pocket carry in the cargo pocket. Partly by having very limited options, by choice, currently a 3" SS 6 shot .327 Fed Mag SP101 and a 2.5" SS 7 shot .357 Mag GP100. I've abandoned pistols for the revolvers. I might eventually add a 2-5/8" SS 8 shot .357 Mag S&W 627 to the mix.

Ditto on the same thing every day. Jeans and a T shirt, only thing that changes is the shirt. Summer it’s untucked short sleeve, cooler weather it’s tucked, long sleeved, with a vest. Smith Shield Plus, Holosun dot sight. I feel like your pistol should be in the same place always.

That makes sense, carry choice tends to shift more with real-world constraints than people expect especially comfort and concealment.

And then there were three, in ascending bbl. length:
2.5" SS 7-shot .357 GP100 with Altamont checkered grips and Chigs curly claro walnut panels
2.75" HC 6-shot .357 Speed-Six with Bob Cogan action/trigger job and USPS Postal Inspector grips
3" SS 6-shot .327 Fed Mag SP101 with CT laser grips
The .357s share a Mika pocket holster, the SP101 has it's own smaller Mika
3 DA Rugers.webp
