I came across Montana Knife Company when I listened to an episode of the Dave Ramsey EntreLeadership podcast featuring their founder, Josh Smith. He shared some insights about their commitment to American craftsmanship and quality. The knives look impressive online, but I haven't had a chance to try one out myself. Has anyone here used their knives in the field? I'm curious about how they perform in real-world situations.

I have a stubhorn and like it. Used it to clean and breakdown 2 hogs and 2 deer before it needed sharpening.....sent it in to mkc they sharpened it for free.

I have a Stubhorn as well and like it. My go to of my MKC knives however is the Whitetail. I always come back to that one in the knife roll. I have used it on several animals and it is holding a nice edge. The ElkHorn Skinner, Blackfoot and Packout Skinner are also great products and purpose built. Overall the quality is very good on their products and shipping is super fast.
