Hi, I'm MSR_Gal.
In my younger days I shot everything up to a 416 Rem Mag. But these days I stick to milder rifles. About the most powerful rifle I shoot much is my .270-08 wildcat in a Savage 110. I'm currently trying to tame it down with a radial muzzle break and a Backstop recoil pad from the Backfire Shop.
The only outdoor range I've found since I moved here is the public range in Garland. If anyone knows of another, let me know.
I still haven't found a LGS where I can get powder and primers for reloading. So I'm having to suck up a lot of HAZMAT fees.

Howdy from Houston(ish) and welcome. My favorite uncle lived in Garland near Saturn and Kingsley. There was a LGS not too far from his house but I don't remember details now as that was 40 years ago. Good luck finding ranges and LGS's.
