My partner made a new rule...buy a gun, sell a gun. She says the safe is full and I have a problem. I say you can always make room and we're still negotiating this. Anyone else dealing with purchase limits at home?

Space and size constraints make this a yes…and honestly, I’m happier for it. I’ve purged a few I don’t shoot, recouped some lost $ for other things, and rediscovered an appreciation for what I like and don’t.

As long as I'm not using borrowed money, i.e. credit, it doesn't matter. But I'm fortunate to not have a better half. I'm blessed to have a best half. That said I do need/want to sell some I never use.

I understand it, I'm getting older and none of my offspring have any interest in shooting or owning guns, even my 45 year old Marine Corps son, go figure. I'm starting to reduce my inventory down guns that are practical and that I actually use, which could be as few as ten, oh my, that might take a while.

LDB and Brother Hubb - I'm in Houston and interested in locally purchased used firearms at fair prices. Feel free to DM me with any examples of your "herds" that you are looking to part ways with. LTC holder and happy to do a bill of sale with ID on any transaction. My 2 young adult sons and I hunt and occasionally hit the range for fun, so I'm not looking for f-class or other high-end rigs. Thanks for the consideration.
