Okay, here's a Picture of the Day thread for strange firearms. Post pics of any unusual firearms you find. I'll start with this crazy old pistol that I think has some weird engineering. You can also add a note about its history or why it's interesting, let's see your weird finds

CFA gets them from time to time. They get pretty much everything. Sort of a museum where everything is for sale.

Not completely unusual, but old and interesting. A Colt 1878 Frontier in 44-40. It’s at Alan Harton’s shop in Houston right now in the lineup for repair and a facelift.
