Any NRL/PRS shooters in here?

I guess not, do you want to be a better rifleman/marksman? Do you want to be truly confident in your shooting ability? Do you want to be a hundred percent at ease in taking a 500-yard shot the next time the biggest deer you ever saw walks out at distance?

That is what participating in NRL/PRS does for you.

I was a hunter who watched the biggest deer of my life walk out at 300 yards or so and just watched it slip away because I was not confident, much less had the know-how or ability to ethically pull the trigger.

This sport has grown so much that in 2022 we had the 1st International Precision Rifle Federation (IPRF) world championship for center fire in France, followed by the 1st world championship rimfire match 2023 in Italy, then here in the US at Cameo Colorado, the 2nd centerfire match. Just last week, the 2nd World Championship Rimfire Match was held in London. The US teams have won overall each time, but the world is catching up. I knew nothing about it. Now I know a thimbleful more than nothing about it. I am basically interested in rimfire, plus my .22 Hornet, a step up but still in the rimfire neighborhood. I got scopes mounted today. It is too hot for the Hornet, likely for several weeks yet, but I hope to get to the indoor range with the CZ soon. Anyway, this interested me until I saw the prone position shooting. I'm sure I could pretty easily manage falling down, not as certain of the getting back up.

Ha ha, that's why I started playing in Benchrest. Our club rarely does prone anymore for said reason, but in championships, they intentionally make it hard.

I went to the August Rimfire match in Navasota. It was a blast. I have done around 10 or so of the NRL22 down around Goliad around 2023 or so then got busy with life. Loved the match in Navasota, and was disappointed I wasnt able to make the Dueces wild due to kids and livestock projects. I am hoping to make the match on the 18th. So far so good on that one.
