On the advice of an FClass shooter I switched from N560 to N555. I'll dial in the tuner for the faster load (49.6gr) today. Here's where I am so far (1st N555 test).

Looks like the tuner is doing it's job, which one is it?

I have been considering trying some of the 555 in my 7 STW, but I have enough other stuff that needs to be used up I just haven't broken down and purchased any. It looks promising though.

Apologies, I thought I replied to this. It's Cortina Precision tuner brake. I put the first one I bought on a 7mm Rem Mag (Sendero). The brake was a huge improvement over the radial brake I had installed a long time ago. The tuner made it just that much better. When I decided to put a brake on the 6.5 PRC I went with the only one I have ever used.

I went to a 1000 yard range a few weeks ago. Prior to that I shot at 300 (different range). Of course it was raining so I didn't set up the Long Shot camera. A coworker that talked me into buying one told me that it was waterproof later that week. Figures... I can't even buy rain at my place.

300 yard target. I noted inches and MOA on the target. I could have shot better and I probably should had tried a tuner adjustment. It was hot and I walked down to the target(s) every group. I shot at 100, 200, and 300 yards so I "got my steps in" on that day. I'm not sure why group 2 was lower than the others. Left to right was probably wind. I held center for all groups.

1000 yards. This plate is 26" x 26". I didn't measure but the lower 3 shot groups is about 4". Not terrible.

This is a 6" plate. Last shot of the day.

The rifle is shooting well enough to show me that it's time to work on me :D

I wouldn't say I was settled but 49.3 which is the middle of the 49.2 - 49.4 loads. 49.4 is the load for the 300 yard test and it wasn't consistent so I dropped back. Some people are shooting 555 at 53.1gr. so there's a little room left if I want to go faster. I just want consistency...

One other thing I changed, before the first post, besides powder, was switching to magnum primers. Fed 210M.
