Do you wrap your guns?

I wrapped an AR and a hunting rifle with vinyl and here's what I think. Gun skins are great for camo, covering up scratches and making your gun look cool. Good vinyl is tough but the bad thing is bubbles can get trapped and cheap skins can peel...so prep the gun, go slow and buy good material.
 
I use Duracoat. It takes some time and a bit of equipment to apply it, but it looks great and is durable.

You need an airbrush and compressor, but you can buy those kits for $80 on Amazon.
 
Kane Gun Chaps were the trick for those gloss finished hunting rifles. Not because we were concerned about the mirror like qualities that flashed so strongly in the sun but because we were afraid of scratching the stock's gloss finish.
For Military applications a rattle can paint job that matches the environment is much better. The airbrushed finishes can be absolutely beautiful.
Most hunters do not keep still enough for camouflage to make much difference.
