Henry X Models short barrels

I'm wondering why Henry X models have short barrels and low capacity. I've noticed the barrels on these lever actions are shorter than usual and they don't hold as many rounds as you'd think. I held one recently and liked it, but these specs are weird, does anyone know why Henry designed the X series this way?
 
Short barrels are great if you want something easy to move around with or if you want to use a suppressor, or for home defense. Those X models are like a modern version of a truck gun.
 
I thought my Henry X in 45-70 was a tad too long at 19”, so I bought a Marlin 1895 Magpul Edition and I love it. I like the additional weight from the 6 round storage right under the adjustable cheek piece, both reduce felt recoil. The 16” barrel with a suppressor is just about perfect. 5+1 rounds is fine with me.

Both guns are accurate, both have that tacticool look, if you are into cool stuff like that.
 
Now that I think about it, it might be 4+1 rounds. In either case, I don’t care. The maneuverability is what I like. “Felt” weight is a real thing too. You hang a can off the end of a long barrel, it feels heavier.
